These are unique vacuum trucks specially developed for (wide-area) sweeping and collecting of verti-cut residue or grass clippings, horse droppings, divots, but also leaves from large grass areas. By unfolding the wings, it is possible to sweep and collect from huge surfaces with working widths of 5.8 or 7.8 m. A fan in a housing lined with replaceable wear plates, provides an enormous suction power, so sweeping can be done with a high working speed. With these vacuum sweepers it is possible to sweep 11 hectares in one hour. With the wings folded, these vacuum trucks can be transported in a normal way with a width of 2.76 m. A large vacuum sweeper with wings is powered by a PTO coupled to the tractor and needs a power of 90 – The required hp PTO can vary depending on the working conditions.110 hp (66 – 81 KW). The vacuum sweepers are available with different loading volumes ranging from 10 to 16 m3. Extra-wide radial tyres and an optional swing axle with four wheels in line, ensure a very low ground pressure.
