Preventing an overly thick layer of old grass clippings is a not neglectable part of Airside Grass Management. A too dense layer of old grass clippings hinders the drainage of water and can cause a risk of flooding that way. It also reduces the effectiveness of pesticides. A thatch layer that is too dense can also contain harmful insects and organisms that in turn attract birds and animals. TRILO Cut & Collect machines can verticut and collect in one pass.
