Verticutting is an important part of maintaining sports fields and mechanically controlling weeds. With TRILO vacuum sweepers you can verticut and collect in one pass. Scarified material gets into airflow of the suction hood with help of the rotation of the scarifier shaft and is vacuumed up and collected immediately. The scarification of grass fields not only prevents the build-up of a thatch layer but also provides aeration of the top layer. Scarifying ensures a better absorption of water and fertiliser and results in faster greening in spring. An additional advantage is that you need to use less pesticides because they are absorbed better.
